Why come to church?

We all spend our time during most of the week being in the world.  The challenge for all Christians is to allow us to help shape the world for Christ rather than letting the world shape us.  The Bible refers to this as spiritual warfare.  After a week of this, we need refreshment and a time of worship, praise, rejuvenation. 

 

We also need to be ministered to and minister to the needs of ourselves and others.  The Bible talks of this weekly meeting and its value in our lives.  God chose the local church to meet that need.
