Music Ministry

Our music ministry is led by Lynn Atkinson. At Southpoint, we believe that music is an important part of worship, and that it prepares the heart to receive the spoken Word. Congregational singing is a blended format of the traditional hymns of the faith, coupled with praise choruses. 

Adult Choir

We are blessed to have many gifted musicians who dedicate themselves to our music ministry. If you desire to be a part of a loving choir family, there are many opportunities of service here for you! Our adult choir is comprised of 30+ voices and the choir sings in the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service. Choir rehearsal is on Wednesday nights after the prayer meeting.

Special Music

Within our music ministry we have soloists and duets who sing for our worship services. Accompaniment is by piano, organ or soundtrack.
