Jeremy and his family are missionaries to the Dominican Republic serving there since 2019. Jeremy is finishing his biblical studies degree through Carolina University. He and Veronica have been faithful servants to the kingdom, the Dominican Republic, our church, and God's people.

We live in a world that's always busy. Sometimes it feels like there just isn't enough time for the people around us. We can even begin to see them as interruptions instead of opportunities. Or worse, we see them as projects--someone to fix, persuade, or improve. Jesus didn't operate this way. No matter how busy, tired, hungry, or worn, He took time for people. This is never seen more clearly. than with the woman at the well. Jesus made her a priority, not a project.

When Solomon dedicated the temple, he prayed that God would give Israel a place they could turn to in order to seek His face. He didn't ask for unfailing strength or that God would keep them from ever falling. He prayed that God would give them a way to return to Him if or when they fall. Here's the truth that Solomon understood: The hope of a nation is not their resolve through crisis but their response to Christ.
