Too often we think of God by names that are not His: "Unforgiving," "Never Satisfied," "Always Looking for a Flaw," and more. But God has given us His names so that we can know Him. Today's message will focus on the name Yahweh, I AM THAT I AM. Though this name, we will be reminded: When i am not enough, He is still I AM.

If someone has ever broken a promise to you, you know how much that can hurt. But God's name, El Shaddai, reminds us of His Almighty, All-Sufficient power. Not only that but He focuses His power towards keeping His promise so that we can rest assured that every promise made will be a promise kept.

Names are important to us. Some names have great sentimental value. Nicknames can tell us character traits of a person. Titles can show respect towards someone. God reveals different characteristics of Himself through His names. The name Elohim means "Supreme" or "Mighty" One. Through this name we learn: He's not God among all others; He's God above all others.
